The Eusebio F. Kino Library of the Free Institute of Philosophy and Sciences, A.C., safeguards a rich collection of antique books that bears the name of Jesuit historian José Gutiérrez Casillas. The collection brings together works printed between the 15th and 19th centuries on diverse subjects related to the civil and religious sphere. Currently, the contemporary collections of the Kino Library, whose main thematic lines are in theology, the history of Mexico, and the history of the Catholic Church in Mexico, are preserved and available for consultation at the Iberoamerican University in Mexico City.
